Mike has over 29 years of health care experience with an extensive background in revenue enhancement, operational change, and federal and state regulatory and reimbursement issues. Mike has directed numerous Medicare and Medicaid cost analysis reports for a wide range of facilities, including acute care hospitals, home offices, rural health clinics, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient rehab facilities. Also, Mike has played integral roles in Medicare and Medicaid federal fraud investigations. As part of the fraud investigations, he worked closely with the defense teams and the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Mike has also testified as an expert witness, on behalf of clients, on Medicare reimbursement principles at the Provider Reimbursement Review Board.

For the past fourteen years, Mike has operated as the Principal/Owner of Third Party Reimbursement Solutions, LLC (TPR), and serves as a Principal Member of the Reimbursement Alliance Group, LLC. Prior to creating TPR, Mike served at the Director level for a “Big Four” Health Care Advisor practice for eleven years and, before that, worked four years with the Fiscal Intermediary in NEPA. This unique blend of technical and business experience has helped to develop Mike into a high-level performer and a valued industry resource.
